Bobby Caldwell died at his home in the Great Meadows section of Independence Township, New Jersey, on March 14, 2023, at the age of 71. His death was announced the following day by his wife, who stated on Twitter that "Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken. Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years." According to his wife, Caldwell's health had declined after suffering severe side effects from fluoroquinolone in 2017.
Well maybe not a brand new dawn but at least a new journal.

The terms are sometimes used interchangeably, but they're not the same thing.
Some of the terminology you come across in ads for new or used cars is pretty straightforward, like the year, make, model, mileage, and category of the vehicle. However, other terms—specifically, “four-wheel-drive” (4WD or 4x4) and “all-wheel-drive” (AWD)—can be a bit more confusing. Here’s what to know about the difference between the two.
Given that most cars, SUVs, and non-commercial trucks have four wheels, you might assume that 4WD and AWD are the same thing. But that would be too simple. Complicating matters even further is the fact that some manufacturers come up with their own names for driving systems, like 4MATIC (Mercedes-Benz) and xDrive (courtesy of BMW).
Plus, the two systems tend to appeal to the same group of consumers: Those who live places where rain, snow, and other weather impacts road conditions, and/or people who plan to drive off-road.

Giovanni Di Quattro, owner of the Rainbow Café, watched nervously as firefighters battled the three-alarm fire billowing out of the Heritage Building at 134 E. Main St., late Tuesday afternoon, just east of his restaurant.
It was one of his cooks who discovered the fire, which ignited in a laundry room of the two-story building.
“I just hope they can keep the fire from spreading,” Di Quattro said.
Eric Robertson, Valley Regional Fire Authority administrator, said: “We’ve been told that it started as a dryer fire. They’ve put an immense amount of water on it to put it out. And as you can see … they’re trying to ensure it doesn’t spread to the next building.”
The 21,000-square-foot, historic Auburn Heritage Building, constructed in 1921, according to the King County Assessor’s Office., is of mixed use, part residential, with apartments and commercial spaces but it was burning east, west, front and center. The building housed 35 residential units and 12 businesses.

Tuesday, I experienced a 3-phase, 480 volt arc flash. I was exchanging a meter for a pump house. It had a safety socket. I used the top studs for my jumpers because they wouldn’t fit on the bottom.
Everything was going fine. I got the new meter in, and was removing the jumpers. I loosened all three, and as I started to remove the last one, it flashed. I had a pre-planned escape route, and used it. The only damage to me was a sooty face shield and a faintly toasted keeper. My tool bag, however, was a total loss. Still have no idea why it happened.
